General: Gordon Freeman is back, and most of
what we saw focused on an Eastern European locale called City 17. Joining
Freeman will be Alyx Vance, Eli Vance's daughter, Barney Calhoun, the cop from
Half-Life, and many other characters. Gordon, an M.I.T. graduate with
a doctorate in Theoretical Physics, is not your typical action hero. He is, for all intents and purposes, a nerd with a good shot. Half-Life 2 begins a ten years after the ending of Half Life.

Comment: I rarely give out 5's because I'm a huge critic when it comes to games and movies. I hesitated at first because there was no multiplayer to this game besides Counter-Strike: Source, which is also very good. That's what most people were complaining about anyways. Then Valve released a patch that enables multiplayer with the Gravity gun! I love this game. This is definitely getting my Favorites two thumbs up sign. I just need a better computer so I can get >40 frames per second. The gravity gun is an awesome weapon and I believe this game even looks better than Doom 3. I can't come up with any reasonable complaint against this game. Um, I wish the pistol sounded cooler?
